Eco-life workshop 3, homemade deodorant

Store-bought deodorants contain a lot of additives that are not good for our bodies. You can make deodorant at home without additives. It’s especially easy to make it with a cream tea. If you’ve made a large amount of cream in advance, leave 10 g of whipped cream in the mixing jar. For deodorant, it’s the cream made from coconut oil that works best, but shea butter cream also works well. In a second bowl, mix together 10 g of baking soda and 10 g of starch (any kind). You need to mix the powders well until evenly combined. Put the whipped cream and the powder mixture together and pinch into a paste. If you like, you can add a drop of fragrance or essential oil, or your favourite perfume oil. The baking soda prevents sweat-causing bacteria from working and the starch keeps the moisture in. Homemade deodorant won’t stain your clothes.
