In the workshop we will make candles decorated with beeswax shapes or carved pictures. First we will talk a little about the history of candles and the different types of wax. The children will learn how candles burn and when people started using candlelight. We will talk about hard-working bees and the uses of beeswax. To decorate candles, we will use beeswax or napkin pictures. We will wrap the candles nicely.
