In the workshop we make candles decorated with beeswax shapes or napkin pictures. First, we talk a little about the history of candles and the different types of wax. The children learn how candles burn and when people started using candlelight. We talk about hard-working bees and the uses of beeswax. To decorate candles, we use beeswax or napkin pictures. Finally, we wrap up the candles nicely.
